The Fortaleza da Barra Archaeological Trail, also called the Prayer Trail, is an archaeological astronomical sanctuary. It contains a set of Megalithic Monuments, which are stones that are strategically positioned, which show exactly when the solstice and equinox phenomena occur, and also determine the north-south direction. These Megalithic monuments form one of the most complex observatories and primitive astronomical calendar on the Brazilian coast.In addition to all this mystical and incredible history of the trail, it has one of the most breathtaking views of Floripa. The panoramic view of Praia da Galheta, Praia Mole, Lagoa da Conceição, Barra da Lagoa, Campeche Island, Xavier and Arvoredo is a unique spectacle and deserves to be contemplated.And it only opens from 9 am.It is a charming place, one of those where you feel an intense energy, you don't even want to leave.
